The Super Eagles have officially opened their training camp in England ahead of the 2025 Unity Cup, with 20 players already in camp and six more expected to arrive soon. The camp, which is holding in London, has brought together a mix of experienced internationals and promising new talents, all focused on making Nigeria proud in the upcoming tournament.

The Unity Cup, which is designed to promote peace and togetherness through football, will see Nigeria face their long-standing rivals, Ghana, in what many fans are calling the “battle of the giants.” The match is scheduled to take place at Brentford’s Gtech Community Stadium, and expectations are already high among Nigerian supporters both at home and in the UK.

 Ahmed Musa, the team captain, spoke to journalists shortly after arriving, saying,

 “We are ready to make Nigeria proud and show unity on and off the pitch.” Musa’s words have set the tone for the rest of the squad, who are determined to put in their best effort.

Among those already in camp are top names like Moses Simon, Kelechi Iheanacho, Semi Ajayi, Wilfred Ndidi, Frank Onyeka, Nathan Tella, and Cyriel Dessers.

These players bring a wealth of experience from both local and international football, and their presence is expected to boost the team’s chances. Also present are Felix Agu, Igho Ogbu, Bruno Onyemaechi, Junior Nduka, Sadiq Ismaila, Waliu Ojetoye, Ifeanyi Onyebuchi, Papa Mustapha, Saviour Isaac, Collins Ogwueze, Sikiru Alimi, and Abubakar Adamu.

However, the Super Eagles are still waiting for the arrival of goalkeepers Stanley Nwabali, Maduka Okoye, and Amas Obasogie, as well as Chrisantus Uche, Samuel Chukwueze, and Tolu Arokodare.
