Bashir Mohammed, the Technical Director of the Cycling Federation of Nigeria (CFN), praised the team’s performance. “the qualifying for the Women Junior Individual Pursuits final increases Nigeria’s chances of winning more medals”, Bashir Mohammed said”. He also reminded everyone that Nigeria’s cycling team has been improving over the years. In 2021, they beat top teams like South Africa and Egypt at the African Track Cycling Championship.

According to Bashir Mohammed, “This performance is consistent with Nigeria’s growing reputation in track cycling. With these impressive results, Nigeria’s cycling team is poised to make a significant impact at the championships. The team’s progress will be worth monitoring as the competition unfolds.”
