JAMB Controversy: Enioluwa a Nigeria Influencer Blasts “Deliberate Negligence”
Influencer says students’ futures nearly destroyed by negligence.

Nigerian influencer and actor, Enioluwa Adeoluwa, has reacted strongly to the recent JAMB controversy, describing the situation as “deliberate negligence” and not a “technical issue” as claimed by the examination body.
In a video shared on TikTok and Instagram, Enioluwa expressed shock over how the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) handled the 2025 UTME results, after many candidates received scores far below expectations due to what was initially described as a system glitch.
“So you’re telling me that if people didn’t make TikToks and videos, 1.1 million students would have been out of university this year?” he asked. “And all of their dreams would have been put on hold because someone somewhere decided not to do their work?”
The influencer dismissed the excuse of a system failure, stating clearly: “This is not a technical issue, it’s a choice. A choice someone somewhere made to not take any extra care into their work.”

He criticised the growing acceptance of failure in Nigeria’s institutions, saying: “I don’t like talking about the issues in our country a lot because I have come to realise that the more you talk about it, the more your brain cannot process it—especially in a society where abnormalities have become the new normal.”
Explaining why he chose to speak up, Enioluwa said:

“When it comes to education, I speak up. And I feel like everyone should as well because education is the bedrock of every society.”
He also warned about the consequences of ignoring young people’s education. “Then they complain that the rate of crime is increasing in the country. Yes, because the people who are supposed to be in school are at home idle.”
His statements have sparked wide reactions online, with many Nigerians supporting his view that public pressure on social media forced the issue into the spotlight.
While JAMB has promised to review affected cases, many continue to question why it took viral posts and public outrage before action was taken.
