The company made this announcement in a corporate notice filed with the Nigerian Exchange Limited, signed by the Company Secretary, Olamide Babawale-Mo.

With this acquisition, Tantalizers is looking to diversify its business and expand beyond the food sector. The company hopes to benefit from the growing influence and economic potential of Nigeria’s creative industry, especially in content production, branded experiences, and youth-focused entertainment.

Founded by Tade Ogidan and RMD, Grand Media Projects Limited has been known for its significant contributions to TV, film production, and content development. The acquisition is expected to strengthen Tantalizers’ position in the entertainment sector and open up new opportunities for the company in digital media and event production.

According to the corporate notice, the acquisition is part of Tantalizers’ long-term strategy to focus more on high-impact, youth-driven sectors, especially media and digital content.

The Chairman of Tantalizers Plc, Adam Nuru, commented on the deal, saying:

“Our acquisition of Tade Ogidan’s Grand Media is a huge step into content development, branded experiences, and event activations. The growing link between food, lifestyle, and entertainment will bring great value to the Tantalizers brand and our stakeholders.”

Nuru added that this partnership would help the company connect with a wider audience and build a more engaging consumer experience.

This acquisition is part of Tantalizers Plc’s broader plan to transform itself into a multi-sector consumer brand

Tade Ogidan, Chairman of Grand Media, also shared his excitement about the acquisition, saying:

“We are very excited about the creative opportunities this acquisition brings. We are confident it will create long-term value for Nigerians and people around the world. Tantalizers’ tech-driven entertainment platform is a smart move and will be a game changer for the industry.”

He also highlighted that the partnership would unlock new opportunities in storytelling, digital media, and event production, especially as Nigeria’s young population continues to drive demand for better entertainment content.

This acquisition is part of Tantalizers Plc’s broader plan to transform itself into a multi-sector consumer brand. In addition to food, the company is expanding into the fisheries and entertainment industries.
