Liquorose and Akin Faminu Win Best Dressed at 2025 AMVCAs, Take Home ₦1 Million Each

The 2025 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCAs) have come and gone, but the excitement from the glamorous night is still fresh in the minds of many Nigerians.

The event, which took place over the weekend, was filled with unforgettable moments, dazzling outfits, and a celebration of excellence in film and television.

However, one of the biggest highlights of the evening was the announcement of the best dressed celebrities, a recognition that added an extra layer of excitement to the prestigious awards show.

The excitement reached its peak when it was time to announce the winners of the Amstel Malta Sleek MVP awards for best dressed.

“In the women’s category, the nominees were Roseline Afije, popularly known as Liquorose, Jemima Osunde, Tomi Ojo, and Venita Akpofure.”

“For the men, the nominees included Saga Adeoluwa, Stan Nze, Deyemi Okanlawon, and Akin Faminu. The public was invited to vote for their favourites, making the competition even more intense”.

After all the votes were counted, Liquorose and Akin Faminu were declared the winners. Both of them received the Amstel Malta Sleek MVP award and a cash prize of ₦1,000,000 each.

Liquorose, who is known for her bold fashion choices, said,

“I’m really grateful to everyone who voted for me. Fashion is a way for me to express myself, and winning this award means a lot.”

Akin Faminu, who is also a medical doctor and fashion influencer, shared his excitement, saying,

“This recognition is special to me. I always try to push the boundaries with my style, and I’m happy people appreciate it.”

The 2025 AMVCAs may be over, but the memories of the night’s fashion and glamour will last for a long time.
