Carlo Ancelotti has reaffirmed that he holds no grievances with Real Madrid

Carlo Ancelotti has made it clear he has “no problem” with Real Madrid as he prepares to leave the club at the end of the season to take over as Brazil’s national team coach. He will officially start his new job on May 26, the day after Madrid’s last La Liga game.
Although the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) announced Ancelotti’s appointment before Real Madrid made an official statement, Ancelotti said this was not an issue. “The CBF released that information because I will be the coach of Brazil starting on the 26th. Madrid can issue their announcement whenever they choose; I have no concerns,” he told reporters. He added, “I’ve never had problems with this club and I never will. It’s a club that I’ll always keep in my heart”.
Ancelotti said he is focused on finishing his time at Madrid in the best way possible, calling it “the final stretch of this spectacular adventure.” He admitted that his last season has been tough, with Madrid falling behind Barcelona in the league, losing the Copa del Rey final, and exiting the Champions League in the quarter-finals.
Reflecting on his time at the club, Ancelotti said, “Football, like life, is an adventure that begins and ends. I’ve always kept in mind that this would end. I’ve had a great time… but in everything in life there comes a time when it ends. My seriousness and professionalism demand that I finish well here”.
He also addressed rumors about player Rodrygo wanting to leave, saying the forward had been unwell and that any talk of him refusing to play was just speculation.
Ancelotti concluded, “I’ve had an amazing experience here, and I want to continue this way for the final two weeks I have left. I’ve given my all, and the titles reflect that”.
